The Rhinebeck boys modified soccer team started their season strong, scoring in the first minute of their first match and then again in the third minute, on their way to a 9-0 win over a feisty Highland side. Smart, unselfish play in the attacking third led to eight assisted goals (overall, seven different players found the back of the net). The boys’ defensive play was just as stellar, and a few difficult saves by the team’s goalkeepers helped the Hawks earn a clean sheet. A great, team win. Next up is an away match vs. Ellenville on October 7th.
