The Modified Girls Soccer team ended on a winning note defeating Ellenville on Friday.  Scoring for Rhinebeck were Scout, Charlie, Lark and Zoe.  Once again keeping a clean sheet were goalkeepers Catherine and Savannah.  Morgan played anywhere on the field she was asked, and dominated in all spots.  Midfielders Sofia, Charli,  and Mia played strong

The modified girls drew against Highland, avenging their loss earlier in the season.  Making good adjustments on defense, Brielle, Jianna, Sofia and Lily kept Highland to minimal scoring opportunities.  Midfielders Charie, Zoe, Charli, Gala and Mia kept the ball moving and supported the defense.  Forwards Scout and Morgan put significant pressure on the Highland goalkeeper

The Varsity Girls Soccer team is the #3-seed in the Section IX Class C Tournament.  They open play on Friday, November 1st when they travel to Tri-Valley to take on the #2-seeded Bears in a 2 PM match.    

Rhinebeck modified lost a tough game against Millbrook, but Morgan and Lark scored two well-earned goals. Savannah again made a number of great saves and the defense of Charli, Gala, Brielle, Jianna, Lily and Mia protected her.  Scout showed resilience and fight for every 50/50 ball.  Charlie distributed the ball well from the center midfield

Modified girls notched a win on Friday at Ellenville.  Scoring for Rhinebeck were Charlie, Scout, Lark and Zoe.  Savannah and Mia shared keeper duties and kept a clean sheet.  Strong defense was provided by Brielle, Jianna, Sofia and Lily.  Morgan made excellent crosses and Charli made great throw-ins.   

Modified girls lost another tough game on Thursday.  After playing a poor 1st quarter, the girls began to show better passing and defending.  Savannah again saved a penalty kick, as well as making many difficult saves.  The girls improved their aggressiveness as the game went on and won many 50/50 opportunities.

The Lady Hawks won 8-0 over Ellenville tonight in the frozen tundra of Rhinebeck High School. First time goal scorers were senior Sophie Derman and Claire Frischknecht.
