Rhinebeck modified cross country traveled to Lippman Park on Wednesday, 10/16. While host Ellenville did not have a modified team, fellow-visiting team Red Hook brought their squad to compete.
The top finisher for Rhinebeck on the boys’ side was Owen Bozenski, covering the 1.5 mile course in 10:18 and finishing in 2nd place overall. Following him were teammates Levi Alves (13:59, 9th) and Seamus Hagen (15:45, 10th). All three runners improved significantly on their previous best times over the 1.5 mile distance.
On the girls’ side, Alex Inteeworn was the top overall girl, winning in 10:43. Teammates Sydney Anchin finished 5th in 14:06, while McKenna Bresnahan was 6th in 14:20. Similarly to the boys, all three runners posted considerable improvements from their last race at this distance.
Modified cross country finishes their season at home this upcoming Tuesday, 10/22, when they take on visiting Dover and Saugerties.
