Girls Varsity Flag Football defeated Lourdes on 4/24 34 – 0.

On defense, Addie Fountain led the team with 6 flags pulled, closely followed by Jillian Hanna with 4, and Fransisca Dickens and Parker Gutterman both with 3. Other flags were pulled by Asta Reedtz, Sophia Schofield, Amanda O’Han, Erin Donnelly, Melkitu Dentico, and Paige Boehm, each with 2 flags pulled. Both Sofia Guerra and Ella Donnelly with 1 flag pulled, keeping up the Hawks strong defense. Jillian Hanna had 2 interceptions, gaining possession of the ball from Lourdes. Paige Boehm, Parker Gutterman, and Addie Fountain all had interceptions. Parker Gutterman caught 3 punt returns. 

On offense, a strong fight was put up by Melkitu Dentico recieving a pass from Gwen Dampf, scoring the team’s first touchdown. Sophia Schofield got an extra point. For the team’s second touchdown, Sophia Schofield received a pass from Gwen Dampf to the endzone. Following this touchdown, Gwen Dampf ran the ball in for an extra point, bringing the score up to 16 – 0. Sophia Schofield scored a touchdown and Macilyn Eighmy added an extra point. Amanda O’Han took a pass into the endzone for the teams fourth touchdown. Amanda O’Han had a second touchdown, with an extra point scored by Sophia Schofield, bringing the Hawks to the final score of 34 – 0.
