This past Friday, October 4th the Rhinebeck Hawks JV team defeated Red Hook 5-1 in a dominant yet resilient game. The first goal was scored by Zizou Daoud with a simple yet skillful finish and a well crafted pass from Nery Lopez. Though Red Hook did manage to score against the Hawks after their first goal it only went uphill for them after that. After half time, Nery Lopez scored two brilliant goals both assisted by Joaquim Azevedo Longman, and in between their two goals and assists a well composed penalty from Alex Button was scored. Finally Joaquim scored a well earned goal from the right assisted by a great pass from John Haight. Though the Hawks were struggling to get through the Red Hooks defense at times, the hawks stayed determined in the end and had an amazing game.
