The Rhinebeck vs Millbrook game, on Friday, October 8th was a physical and exciting game for Rhinebeck. It was a close win 1-0 although Rhinebeck possessed the ball on the opposing side for the majority of the game. This game was one of the most physical games we have played, with multiple yellows and many free kicks. Though Rhinebeck was able to stay calm most of the game and limit their fouls. In the first half there were many shots taken on the Millbrook goal, but they were all stopped by the goalkeeper. The first half ended in a frustrating 0-0 score. In the second half from Rhinebeck, Joaguim Azevedo came into play as keeper for the first time although no shots were taken. Out of the break Millbrook came out more physical than the first half but Rhinebeck adapted quickly to stay on top of the score. Shortly into the second half Calvin Steel scored a great goal from an amazing through ball from Felix Miller. The rest of the game was strongly dominated by Rhinebeck, leading to another win for the Rhinebeck JV boys.
