A fitting end to a great (and undefeated!) season, every Hawk player put forth their maximum effort in a thrilling 4-2 victory over a fast and formidable Millbrook Mustang side. After we slid two beautifully assisted goals in the back of the net in the 7th and 10th minutes, the Mustangs leveled up with two goals of their own. Entering the second half, the score tied 2-2, we dug deep and came out strong, scoring just one minute into the half on a brilliant corner and crafty finish. One of our wingers added another lovely goal in the 37th minute. The Mustangs didn’t let up during the final 23 minutes, but our goalkeepers, back line, midfielders, wingers, and strikers all played as well as they had all season long and were too much for the Mustangs. A very hard-earned well-deserved win, our eighth overall, completing an undefeated season. This team has so much to be proud of and celebrate. Well done, Hawks!
