Members of the Rhinebeck Tennis Team competed in sectionals at Match Point Tennis in Goshen. In the doubles tournament, Alex Pulver and Colin O’Connor lost in two sets (1-6, 2-6) to Middletown. They competed throughout the entire match and showed great effort. Marc Hoffman played in the singles tournament. He won his first match against Port Jervis 6-0, 6-1. In his second match he played against the number one singles player from Newburgh Free Academy. In a two hour long match Marc lost in three sets, 6-2, 2-6, 3-6. It was an intense match with the crowd getting very involved. Marc showed great mental toughness and sportsmanship after the match.
