The Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams traveled to Montgomery Place on Thursday, October 6th to compete in a tri-meet against Red Hook and New Paltz.

Varsity Boys

Senior Joe Hagerty continued leading the Hawks with a 1^st place finish in 18:29. Joe’s time broke the previous course record of 18:42. Seniors Christian Cale (19:59) and Manny Allen (21:10), junior Griffin Giles (21:02), and sophomore Shea Gallagher (23:19) rounded out scoring for the Hawks who, as a team, fell to Red Hook 20-41 and New Paltz 23-32. The boys return to action this Saturday at the Saugerties Invitational.

Varsity Girls

Rhinebeck’s top performer was sophomore Willa Kurtz in 29:36. Following her were sophomores Melkitu Dentico (29:54) and Jillian Hanna (30:10). There were no team scores across all three teams. The girls return to action this Saturday at the Saugerties Invitational.
