Rhinebeck Cross Country competed at the NYS championships held at Chenango Valley State Park this past Saturday, 11/15, marking their first appearance since at States since 2012.

Joe Hagerty continued his streak of finishing first for Rhinebeck, placing 42nd in a time of 18:25. Christian Cale finished in 64th with a time of 18:47, while Griffin Giles finished close behind for 66th in 18:53. The boys took the top three spots of the five individual qualifiers from Section 9. All in all, there were a total 116 runners competing in the class D championship.

Their run closes out a wildly successful season highlighted by a team trophy at the Saugerties Invitational, a top 5 finish at the Burnt Hills Invitation, and the highest post-season placing since 2013 at MHALs (6th) and 2012 at Sectionals (2nd).
