The Varsity Volleyball team fell to Mount Academy and S.S. Seward during opening week matches. On Thursday the Hawks traveled to Camp Grace and were defeated by a powerful Mount Academy team 3-0. Madison Ranalli (1 kill, 3 blocks, 2 assists, 1 dig, and 1 ace) led the Hawks. On Friday Rhinebeck traveled to Florida, NY and fell 3-0 to the Spartans. Addison Fountain and Molly Leary led the Hawks offense with 2 kills each and Danielle Rocco anchored the defense with 7 digs. Rhinebeck’s next match is on Thursday, September 12th when they travel to Webutuck before their home opener on Friday, September 13th against Burke Catholic at 5 PM.
